In the meeting convened between Head of ICCIM, Iran's Ambassador to Denmark and Iranian delegation and a group of Danish economic activists in Iran's Embassy to Denmark, necessity of technological cooperation and technology transference from Iran to Denmark as well as diversifying trade exchanges between the two countries were emphasized.According to the report of ICCM Public Relations, Head of ICCIM, "Mohammad Nahavandian" pointed to the changes made in the status of global economy, noting that due to natural resources, geographical and geopolitical status of Iran, educated labor force and easy access to neighboring countries' markets such as ECO and CIS markets, Iran will play pivotal role in the region in the foreseeable future.
Pointing to the wrong image of Iran made by western mass media, he said they believe that Iran has a risky business environment which is considered as an obstacle on Iran-Denmark cooperation and called on Danish business people to expand their contact and cooperation with Iran. He also added dissemination of information and sharing useful experiences will help the two sides to identify the opportunities and to expand their knowledge about each other.
Nahavandian also invited Danish companies to attend Iran's stock exchange and to have a share in privatization process in Iran.
During this meeting, Chairman of Primodan Food Machinery who had active cooperation with Iran in the field of diary industry as well as Tapso which was active in the field of petrochemical were appreciated.
In the meeting convened between Head of ICCIM and officials of Denmark Chamber of Commerce as well as Confederation of Danish Industries, economy development, expansion of volume of trade exchanges and different areas of cooperation between the two countries were explored and discussed.
Head of ICCIM and the accompanying delegation also had meeting with President of Denmark Chamber of Commerce in which the two sides discussed regarding development of economic ties.
Nahavandian pointed to appropriate areas of cooperation including food industry, pharmaceutical, energy as well as joint investment on shipping. He also emphasized on establishing cooperation on renewable energy in Iran.
Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce suggested Danish companies to increase investment in Iran, and emphasized on establishing joint Business Councils, exploring establishment of Iran's trade center in Copenhagen, and implementing joint projects in the third country.
In the meeting with Vice-President of Confederation of Danish Industries, attendance of Danish companies in "Halal" and "renewable energy" exhibitions which will be held by ICCIM was emphasized.
